Part of living life to the fullest, is to share with others what has been given to us. In sharing, we release control, and the blessings multiply.

Not many things in life make me happier than to be able to love on these orphaned kids by supporting their mama, Nicolle.  Who are they?...

Eyes Wide Open International is a non-profit that activates, mobilizes, and encourages people to join them, and work alongside local and global partners in providing relief to those in the midst of crisis and human suffering. Their specific thrust is towards those in the greatest need – widows and orphans.  Nicolle Police is currently caring for over 25 orphans in Haiti, a country plunged into even more devastation after the major earthquake in 2010.  Nicolle remains committed to her calling to rescue the fatherless, long after the death of her husband David in 2011, who gave his life in service to the people of Haiti.  Learn more about Nicolle's vision here:

HANDS OUT FOR the HOMELESS in Columbus

About 8 years ago, after driving past yet another homeless person on a street corner, it came to me that there might be a solution to the problem of not being prepared for this.  What if...what if we made bags to carry in the car, in preparation of these future encounters?  So, that is what I decided to do. Preparing these bags is super easy, and fun!  We like to make events out of them and invite our friends.

The last batch of bags turned out beautifully, with lots of personal care items as well as food, and socks.

With lots of help, we assembled about 50 bags in 20 minutes!
